ACTIVATED SLUDGE PLANTS IN POLYETYLENE

Activated sludge plants consist of an inlet and outlet tube and an inspection pass. Inside is inserted a diffuser that ensures the proliferation of bacteria. Activated sludge plants have a disinfection compartment along the outlet tube where a chlorine tablet with a disinfectant effect can be inserted.

Activated sludge plants are among the secondary treatments, that is, of all those processes suitable for high-level purification for the delivery of wastes either on a watercourse or in sub-irrigation. The plant allows downstream of the so-called primary treatments (imhoff and degreaser) to purify the water allowing the discharge of the same in sub-irrigation or underground. With the help of this plant, the organic load of the BOD5 is reduced. The purification efficiency of the waste water is 90%. The basic process is aerobic digestion.

Inside the artifact occurs the aerobic digestion of organic substances, which come from primary treatments and sedimentation of sedimentable material. The sewage coming out of the product can be discharged on the ground or sent to further treatment steps. The activated sludge purifier is equipped with vent, PVC slurry inlet and outlet logs and caps for inspection and periodic maintenance
